Ananda Marga Universal Relief Team (AMURT) is a voluntary charitable nongovernmental organization, founded in India in 1965 by Shri Prabhat Ranjan Sarkar.

Its original objective was to help meet the needs of victims of disasters that regularly hit the Indian sub-continent.

Qualifications for the M&E Officer Job

• Bachelor’s degree in social statistics or related discipline with at least 4 years of experience in M&E work.
• Knowledge and experience in performing M&E tasks in donor funded projects.
• Strong writing and communication skills.
• Evidence of developing data tools, data capturing and analysis.
• Documentation skills.
• High level of integrity, values, ethics and competence.
• Demonstrate high level of creativity, innovation and analytical thinking.
• Ability to network, collaborate and advocate with partners.
• Familiarity and experience with OLMIS system in OVC programming is a plus.

M&E Officer Job Responsibilities

• To carry out primary responsibility for supporting implementation of M&E activities in current and upcoming assigned projects.
• Managing M&E reporting systems.
• Formulate program goal, outputs and indicators for strategic activities.
• Working with program staff to develop support plans for reporting formats, analyze field data, prepare/develop and submit monthly, semi-annual and annual M&E reports.
• Regularly update and comply with donor reporting systems; perform any other duties as directed by your supervisor.
• Managing data in OLMIS system and retrieving relevant data to inform programming.
