Systems Innovation Manager

Our client, National Hospital Insurance Fund (NHIF) is a state corporation established by under the Act no 8 of 1998 whose mandate is to provide accessible, affordable, sustainable and quality social health insurance.

In order to enhance institutional capacity to deliver strategy.

NHIF is seeking to recruit a results driven and highly motivated individual to fill the following position:

Reporting to the Director Strategy, Planning and Marketing, the job holder will be responsible for developing and executing the Fund’s corporate innovation strategy.

Key Responsibilities for the Systems Innovation Manager Job

  • Develop corporate innovation and management systems strategies and plans;
  • Assess Innovation programs and management systems;
  • Drive the acceleration of the organization’s digital transformation by rethinking the Fund’s customer experience, improving operational efficiency and testing new business models;
  • Identify opportunities to leverage Artificial Intelligence and Intelligent Automation to change the way services are sold and delivered;
  • Motivate generation and management of innovations and management systems; and
  • Coordinate innovation and management systems. ensuring NHIF compliance to the international standards.

Systems Innovation Manager Job Qualifications

  • Be a holder of a Bachelors Degree in any of the following fields; Business, Finance, ICT, Project Management, Engineering, or any other relevant field from a recognized university;
  • A Masters Degree in any of the above, or related fields from a university recognised in Kenya will be an added advantage; and
  • Have knowledge and relevant experience of not less than eight (8) years in innovation and management systems with three (3) years at managerial level in an organisation of similar complexity as NHIF.

Certificate of Good Conduct from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations;

Clearance Certificate from the Higher Education Loans Board;

Tax Compliance Certificate from the Kenya Revenue Authority;

Clearance from the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission; and

A report from an Approved Credit Reference Bureau.
