Senior Accountant

Reporting to the Principal Accountant – Financials, the holder of this position will be responsible for supporting the treasury function by supervision of cash receipts and bank reconciliations

Senior Accounting Job Responsibilities

• Ensuring that all bank accounts are timely and accurately reconciled to cash book on a month to month basis
• Process all journals in respect to bank reconciliations and cashier journals
• Supervise cashiers and vet daily cashiering reports.
• Conduct surprise cash counts for all cashiers.
• Handle all queries regarding bank deposits and wire transfers.
• Reconcile related General Ledger accounts
• Prepare audit schedules for both internal and external audits
• Perform other duties assigned

Qualifications for the Senior Accounting Job

• Bachelor’s degree in business or related field from an accredited university.
• CPA (K) / ACCA (Final Level)
• At least 3 years’ of relevant experience as an Accountant.
