Mhasibu Savings and Credit Cooperative Society Limited (the Sacco) is a leading, fast growing Sacco whose Vision is “To be a Sacco of excellence among the best managed in the World” with an asset base of Kshs.3.8 billion, a loan book of Kshs.3.5 billion, and a membership of over 15,000 derived from the accountancy profession and other sectors. The Sacco’s primary objective is to transform and grow the membership and business through innovative products, superior customer service, prompt loan disbursement and aggressive revenue mobilization. In order to achieve the planned growth, the Sacco is looking for a qualified and competent professionals to fill the following vacancy:

Systems Auditor
Reporting to the Internal Auditor, the incumbent will be responsible for continuous appraisal of the organization’s ICT Operations systems against internal control systems, policies, procedures and manuals

Main Duties

1. Annual audit planning for IT audits
2. Planning for individual IT Audit assignments
3. Execution of IT audits and IT advisory engagements
4. Evaluation of IT plans, strategies, policies and procedures to ensure adequate management oversight
5. Identification of Information systems weaknesses, review of management plan for addressing those weaknesses and reporting on material weaknesses

Minimum academic and professional qualifications required

• Bachelor degree in Information Technology
• CISA certification
• CPA qualification is added advantage
• A minimum of 3 years’ experience in Information Technology audit
• Ability to abide by the internal audit standards
